Palm Health Foundation honors Mrs. Paula Harris, who passed away last month after a life of dedication to supporting Palm Beach County health. Most recently, Palm Health Foundation presented a grant to MorseLife Health System, which will allow interested home health aides to advance in their careers to achieve licensure as certified nursing assistants, made possible by The B.J. and Paula Harris Fund at Palm Health Foundation.
The B.J. and Paula Harris Fund has granted more than $1 million to support community health initiatives since 2004. These grants have supported various healthcare organizations such as Caridad Center, MyClinic and Kramer Senior Services, as well as provided nursing scholarships to students at Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University, and others. Mrs. Harris made the lead gift of Palm Health Foundation’s Brain Health Campaign in 2018, launching our work to put Palm Beach County on the map as a leader in brain health advancement.
“We are so grateful for the generous support of Mrs. Harris over the years, and honored that she chose Palm Health Foundation to help manage her contributions for the betterment of Palm Beach County residents.”
