Strengthening Partnerships Program

The Strengthening Partnerships Program (SPP) is a collaborative initiative aimed at bolstering the capacity of nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County. The program offers essential resources and expertise in philanthropy, fundraising, and capacity-building to address the challenges faced by these organizations. 

Key Components: 

1. Selection of Six Nonprofit Organizations: Six qualified nonprofit organizations will be chosen to participate in the program. 
2. Executive Coaching Sessions: A primary contact from each selected organization will engage in four coaching sessions with an executive coach from September 12th to December 5th. These sessions will focus on fostering learning and networking opportunities. 
3. Support for Capacity-Building: The program provides administrative and infrastructure support to enable nonprofits to allocate more resources and time to their core missions and professional development. 
4. Establishment of Nonprofit Fund: Participants have the option to create a nonprofit fund at Palm Health Foundation (PHF). The fund will be managed and administered by PHF's investment experts, providing sustainable financial support for the organization. 
5. Planned Giving and Philanthropic Services: Organizations gain access to comprehensive philanthropic services, including expertise in planned giving, to enhance donor engagement and financial stability. 

Program Structure: 

The program comprises four sessions, two in-person and two via Zoom, covering various aspects of planned giving, philanthropy, and donor engagement. The sessions provide practical training and insights, equipping organizations with the tools needed to establish and grow their planned giving programs.

By participating in this program, these organizations can strengthen their fundraising capabilities, expand crucial programs, and enhance services to the community, ultimately benefiting both the organizations and the residents of Palm Beach County. 

Organization Participant Qualifications: 

Participating organizations must meet the following requirements:

• Have an organizational mission that aligns with Palm Health Foundation’s efforts to build a culture of health for all in Palm Beach County 
• Be a tax-exempt organization under any part of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
• Be headquartered in and serve the residents of Palm Beach County
• Be available to attend all four SPP meetings
