Grantee Spotlight: Providing Help & Hope

Palm Health Foundation supports Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope, an organization that improves the lives of local cancer patients during their time of greatest hardship. 


Cancer Alliance is currently assisting more patients than ever before in their 20-year history. One of those patients is Jennifer, a mother of three young children, who discovered her cancer 31 weeks into her pregnancy. 


Her husband, her primary caregiver during radiation treatments, lost his job, leading to further financial hardship. 


Palm Health Foundation’s grant supported Jennifer’s family with utilities, food, transportation, household products, car payments, and more.

Aspen Institute spotlighted BeWellPBC , a Palm Beach County behavioral health movement supported by Palm Health Foundation, and their Community Connectors , a group of advocates that help improve the health and wellbeing of their neighborhoods by serving as a bridge between residents and private and public health services.  These Community Connectors are deeply trusted and have helped their communities navigate complex health challenges – like when one neighbor didn’t know what to do when her husband was admitted to a nursing home as his dementia worsened.
