Palm Health Foundation is pleased to welcome Amy Ferguson, a Master of Social Work student at FAU, to the PHF team as a fellow working closely with our Director of Grants and Community Partnerships, Heather DeStefano.
About Amy:
Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Amy is committed to walking alongside her fellow community members to support resilience and well-being. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Florida State University and has experience in early childhood education, including her work as a preschool teacher at Sunflower Creative Arts, a program rooted in nature and community, where she emphasized child-led learning and family collaboration.
She is passionate about integrating storytelling and creativity into social work practice and plans to pursue licensure as a clinical social worker to continue serving individuals and communities in Palm Beach County. She is endlessly curious and finds daily inspiration in the beauty of nature.
